About Us
The Tilghman Watermen's Museum is a non-profit museum located in the Lee House at 6031 Tilghman Island Road, Tilghman Maryland 21671. Our museum aims to showcase the rich maritime heritage and culture of the Chesapeake Bay region. We are dedicated to preserving the traditions of the watermen and sharing their stories with visitors from near and far. Through engaging exhibits, educational programs, and community events, we strive to highlight the significance of the watermen's way of life. Come and explore the history, traditions, and skills of the watermen, and experience the beauty of the bay through the lens of those who have depended on it for generations.

“Tilghman is just a place that gets up and goes to work.”
